Students with a disability

The Hilder Road's Special Education Program (SEP) team works collaboratively to support students with a disability.

They work closely with parents, classroom teachers and other professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, paediatricians and psychologists to optimise educational and social outcomes for each student.

Students with a verified disability in the following areas may also be eligible for extra support funding:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Hearing Impairment (HI)
  • Intellectual Impairment (II)
  • Physical Impairment (PI)
  • Speech-Language Impairment (SLI)
  • Vision Impairment (SLI)
