At Hilder Road State School, we have attempted to make the purchase of books and resources for students as simple as possible. Each year we ask for a 'Resource Hire Scheme' payment which covers stationery and craft materials within the classroom for the year.
In doing this, it ensures that all students have the appropriate materials at any time throughout the year in order to complete tasks. In addition to this, the necessary books and folders are arranged through 'School Stuff' so that book packs are identical for each student in the class, and parents do not have to endure the difficulties of finding specific items before the return to school in the new year.
Participation in both of these programs are optional, with the alternative being the providing of equal materials through your own procurement ready for the beginning of the year. Booklists and resource requirements are sent home to parents during Term 4 for the following year.
